The Outpost is a 21' X 16' canvas wall prospector tent with a 9' ceiling and 6' walls set up on a dry wood floor above ground level. It can be equipped with 6 comfortable extra large 40" wide Cabella outfitter cots. Storage pouches that hang on the side of the cots easily organizes your personal items. Fly pest netting is available for the cots if needed. Tables and seating are available for indoor or outdoor dining.
The Outpost is fully equipped with a propane 3 burner stove, lighters, fresh water and water jugs, ice cooler, coffee pot, frying pans, cooking pots, pot holders, burner toaster, dishes and plastic ware, cutlery and utensils, can/bottle opener, cutting boards, fish cleaning board, playing cards and cribbage board, propane lanterns, flashlights, tiki torches, portable propane BBQ, firepit with cooking utensils and firewood.
We supply dish soap, scrub pads, wash basins, liquid hand soap, 2 rolls of paper towel, 4 rolls of toilet paper, garbage and recycling bags and salt & pepper.
A Guide/Chef is available at an additional charge to fulfill your needs such as boat guide, canoe/kayak paddler, fish cleaning, cooking, cleaning, shore lunch, etc.
There is a porta-potti available on site.
Available for your use is one 18' two man kayak with paddles, one 14' two man paddling canoe with paddles, and one 14' four man aluminum boat with oars and anchor. Small outboard motor can be arranged for the boat. You are encouraged to bring your own proper fitting life jackets. We will have a limited supply of life jackets available for a small rental fee.
Things to bring if staying at the Outpost other than listed above are warm insulated sleeping bags and pillows, towels and wash cloths, extra paper towel and a personal flashlight.
